UrduOnline Courses at Royal Bay (HUB)
Students have two options when it comes to taking online classes at Royal Bay. The first being to register for a HUB block, where you will attend daily. The second is to register in an online only course (HOL), where you take this outside of the timetable. Online courses are accessed through our Learning Management System, Brightspace.
HUB
- Offers a quiet workplace where students come in and work on their online courses in a self-paced manner.
- Provides flexible deadlines giving students the option to take more time when needed, or progress faster, with the goal of still completing courses within one semester.
- Receive daily support from teachers face to face.
- Provides opportunity for students who want more flexibility and are successful working independently.
HOL
- Provides the opportunity to complete courses independently in a self-paced manner outside the timetable.
- Provides flexible deadlines giving students the option to take more time when needed, or progress faster, with the goal of still completing courses within one semester.
- Receive virtual support from teachers (email, Microsoft Teams).
- Provides opportunity for students who want more flexibility and are successful working independently.
- Flexible test writing options for supervised tests.
